The Veterans Walk of Honor is located at the Bartholomew County Memorial for Veterans on the Courthouse Square, Columbus, Indiana. The Veterans Walk of Honor has 5,186 names of veterans inscribed on the bricks that make up the walk. The Walk of Honor runs from Second and Washington Street across the courthouse yard to Third and Jackson Street and is divided into alphabetical sections. The list of names compilation was originally completed by Boy Scout, Matt Harmon and the current updated list was created by Aaron White, also a Boy Scout. An alphabetical listing is available by clicking on the Names A to Z listings on the left side of this page. Special thank you to Karen Nissen of Ivy Tech State College for helping format the names lists.
